Why we started this
Most kids never get a real stage. They get a school play with forty parts and one rehearsal a week, or a studio that treats them as a revenue line. We wanted a third thing: a small school where working theater artists teach small groups, and every semester ends with a performance the students can be proud of. Bellavigna Theater Co. is that school. Lessons take at most four students, and semester classes are capped at twenty. Our teachers are working theater artists. And we treat the end-of-semester show as the point, not a formality.
Where we teach
Private home studio, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY.
Until our own studio opens, private lessons are held in a private home studio in Bay Ridge. We send the exact address when you book. Parents are welcome to stay and watch; we ask that you hold questions until the end so your student can stay focused. The spring semester will meet at a studio we’ll announce here before it starts.
